Repair planning

A clear plan for collision and body damage

Every repair begins with the vehicle’s actual condition. We document visible damage, inspect the affected areas, and explain the proposed work before it is authorized.

Collision damage inspection

Visible damage documentation and a closer inspection of affected areas.

Bumpers & exterior panels

Repair or replacement planning for bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, and exterior panels.

Dents & scratches

Assessment and repair planning for minor and larger exterior damage.

Paint & refinishing

A refinishing plan designed around the damaged area, material, and repair approach.

In-house ADAS calibration

We check the vehicle’s calibration requirements, complete the agreed work in-house and document the results.

Insurance coordination

Hands-on help organizing repair documents, completing factual forms with you, and communicating about the repair scope when authorized.

Final repair scope is confirmed after inspection. Parts, in-house ADAS calibration, any outside services, and timing depend on the vehicle, damage, applicable procedures, availability, and authorization.

Useful answers

Before you bring in the vehicle

Can you estimate collision damage from photos?

Photos help us review visible damage and plan the next step. A photo estimate is preliminary. Hidden damage found during inspection or disassembly may change the repair plan and cost.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. With your permission, we can organize the facts and repair documents you provide, complete repair-related forms with you, communicate with the assigned insurer about our estimate and repair scope, coordinate inspections, and document supplements. We do not determine coverage, liability, deductible, payment, or claim approval.

Is towing always complimentary?

No. Complimentary towing may be available only when Calibri confirms a qualifying collision repair before dispatch. Pickup area, vehicle condition, access, equipment, timing, and destination still apply. Other towing requests may have a charge.

Is a rental vehicle guaranteed or automatically covered?

No. Rental availability and terms are confirmed when you contact us. Rentals are paid, either through applicable insurance rental coverage or self-pay. Insurance coverage, limits and authorization apply. Driver eligibility, a valid license, proof of insurance, a signed agreement, vehicle-use rules and timing must be confirmed.

Can Calibri speak with the insurer for me?

With your authorization, we can join calls and communicate about our estimate, documented repair scope, supplements, inspections, and repair status. You provide and review the accident facts. Policy interpretation, coverage, liability, payment, and claim decisions remain with the insurer.

Do I have to use the body shop my insurance company recommends?

California drivers may choose the repair shop. An insurer may recommend a facility, but it cannot require the vehicle to be repaired at a specific shop. Ask us what information is useful before authorizing repairs.

Is a car wash included after an insurance-claim repair?

Yes. After Calibri Motorsport completes an insurance-claim collision repair, we include a complimentary exterior wash before pickup when the vehicle and completed repair are suitable for washing. It is a Calibri courtesy, not an insurance benefit, and has no cash value.

Does every insurance-claim vehicle receive ADAS calibration?

Every Calibri insurance-claim repair is reviewed for calibration requirements before delivery. The procedures actually performed depend on the installed systems, affected components, completed repair operations, and applicable manufacturer service information. Required calibration is a paid repair operation and insurance payment is claim-specific.

Do you repair both minor and major body damage?

Contact us about dents, scratches, bumpers, exterior panels, paint damage, and collision repairs. We confirm whether the requested work is a fit after reviewing the vehicle and damage.

What if my vehicle is not driveable?

Do not drive a vehicle that may be unsafe. Call us and explain what happened so we can discuss the appropriate next step.

Will the final estimate match the photo estimate?

Not always. Photos cannot show every damaged component. The estimate can change after inspection, disassembly, parts verification, or insurer review. We explain changes before additional work is authorized.

How long does collision repair take?

Timing depends on the damage, hidden findings, parts availability, insurer authorization, calibration requirements, and other vehicle-specific procedures. We provide a more useful timeline after the repair plan is established.
