Nissan Frontier Collision Repair: Body Work Complete, ADAS Calibration Still Ahead

This red Nissan Frontier's collision repair involved replacement parts across the front and lighting areas, plus repairs to the bed and passenger-side body. By September 24, 2026, the physical work was complete. ADAS calibration was the next planned step before the customer could collect the truck.

An approved scope covering panels, lamps and grilles

Calibri worked with the insurance company to obtain approval for the repair estimate. The replacement scope included the hood, front bumper, a headlamp, a tail lamp, fog lamps and grilles. The bed and passenger-side body were repaired.

That combination shows why a pickup's collision estimate can contain different types of work within one job. This Frontier needed both replacement components and body repairs. Reviewing those groups separately helps an owner understand which items are being replaced and which existing areas are being restored.

For damage involving several parts of your truck, include views of every affected area when requesting an estimate. An existing insurer estimate is also useful when starting the conversation with the body shop.

The next stage in the repair plan

Nissan's official collision position statement addresses diagnostic scanning and calibration within the repair process and directs repairers to the applicable service procedures.

If you receive a similar progress message, ask which system or systems remain on the plan and when the shop expects to confirm completion. Calibri's ADAS service can also review an inquiry when body repairs have already been performed elsewhere.

A Tacoma loaner during this customer's repair

The claim process and repairs had taken about a month by this update. During that period, the Frontier customer was provided with a Toyota Tacoma loaner to use for work.

Those arrangements helped address a practical concern: the owner needed a truck while the Frontier was being repaired. If transportation affects your own repair plans, discuss it with Calibri at the start of the request. Ask about availability and arrangements for your visit.

Should I send an estimate already prepared by the insurer?

Yes. Include it with the vehicle details and photographs so the shop can review the proposed scope with you.

What should I confirm before arranging pickup?

Ask whether the remaining work, including any planned calibration, is complete and whether the shop has confirmed collection. Coordinate the return of a loaner or rental with that confirmed date.
